WiW: 11.22 - Back from the Abyss!

I got a call from a dry cleaners who had lost my dress last year: well, they found it and were willing to deliver it too! How nice! :) so, I had to team wear this one, especially with pockets!

We are under a snowfall warning again (20 cm expected) but at least this means it will be relatively nice out today. We are back into the plus range tomorrow!

Keep warm, YLF friends!

Love this! The grey frock pairs beautifully with the military-esque jacket. Whoo hoo for found clothes!

Wow!  This is such a stunning outfit on you.  Feminine and professional!  I can't believe the dry cleaner lost your dress.  Had they already reimbursed you for it?

Everytime I come across this silhouette in the stores, I think of how nice it would look on you!  This dress is a great foil for the necklace, too!

Stay warm!  We might get snow today here in Chicago!

Yay! So glad you got it back and so nice to see the outfit on you as I just commented on your outfit planning post where I saw it hanging up. I looks just as good as I imagined it would.

They didn't charge me for cleaning :) And I go reimbursed not a lot. Was unhappy.

    Now I am happy!

I love happy endings! It's a lovely dress on you and I'm glad they found it. A dry cleaner once lost half of my suit the day before my big interview. So stressful!

  • Parsley replied 10 years ago

That is wild that they found your dress after so much time. It looks wonderful on you. I love the military jacket, too.

Great outfit , really love the jacket with the gold buttons, you define the phrase "Signature Style".  Oh dear, now I have heard your story shall worry every time I send something good to the dry cleaners, it's the stuff of nightmares!!

I love the jacket and necklace. What a wonderful ending that you go your dress returned (and delivered no less!) I love the girly flare of the skirt and the strict military styling of the jacket and the necklace with it's added color and pattern just makes me happy. YLF!

This is just perfect on you - the colors keep it from any twee-ness and it's got loads of interesting detail.

  • Sveta replied 10 years ago

What a happy ending! Of course you look lovely in this dress and I just love the jacket with it.
Keep warm - we also have a big snowstorm over this weekend. Canadian winter has arrived...
