Hmm. Wasn't really sure about this outfit or not... I am starting to run into problems getting dressed in the morning again. Sigh.
Not really sure why, though. Maybe the seasonal transition?

My go to cardigans are a bit too dark in colour scheme for this time of the year, so I have been digging up some older toppers in more springy colours!
And I can wear pumps again! I think I will need to commute in flats and swap at the office though until I can build up my calf strength again (haha).
I am a bit sad to see the tights go: I have a lot of dresses I feel are a touch too short to wear to work without tights. In all fairness, their length is probably fine for work, but these days I don't think I want to risk it.
Well, that is probably enough rambling for now!

Stalked this little dress from $250 down to $50, but what does YLF think of it?
I am thinking for occasions in the fall and winter where I may not want to wear a topper, a lace dress with sleeves would be nice: and the length is long enough for polite company, including church, I think.

How fun! Minions and Cameras!!!
This skirt was a huge hit with my dad who is really into vintage cameras, and I thought it was about as conversational as I like!
And I thought it was a way to infuse a few colours into my wardrobe that I don't "look good in" like orange and teal. Maybe the small amount works here?

I am not quite sure which one I like better: the pumps and the flats are both pretty comfy so that is not too much a consideration.
What does YLF think? ;)

From the donation pile, I salvaged this dress! I loved the fabric and the pattern, but it had a terrible top part! So, I just kept the bottom half!
I need to make it slightly smaller, but that will be an easy fix I think!
My sewing machine is awesome!

One of my coworkers thought my skirt was made of curtains from the 70's!
Also, the med students thought I was more subdued today :p oh Dear. "WHERE IS YOUR BIRD DRESS?"

Can you spot (haha) my pattern mixing? I needed a more "subdued" outfit for family meetings for patients, but I still got my fun in!

Just heading out for ice creams. It's 16 out today!!!
Still pooped from working overnight though.

After working out regularly for six months I have finally lost my very FIRST inch. Yes. I have lost exactly one inch. Haha. Slightly discouraging by the numbers, but I definitely feel overall improvements that may not reflect in my one inch!
Taking a double shift so that one of my friends can go home for the holidays: slightly resentful I don't get a long weekend (again) but I suppose it is part of the job!
I love this dress even though it was one of those sale rack impulse buys. I sometimes think it is too short, so I will use tights for now. I don't think it is -that- short, but I think I secretly bat for team longer lengths (in Angie
Terms!)
Styled more for comfortable 26hr call than anything else, would love to hear your thoughts and opinions! Suggestions?
Happy Easter!
Lyn
