I usually wear a belted cardigan with this dress, but messed up the order this morning! Oh well, something easy enough to "fix" if it bothers me later today!

A repeat of a FFBO and nothing too exciting, but it's nice to have one day of warm before it gets too cold again!!
I have started to notice some body changes in the way my clothes fit: my boots are definitely looser these days and dresses I had trouble zipping up before are better. Still weigh 13 lbs heavier than this time last year though.
Ah, the mysteries of weight.

I didn't want to do a layered cami look, so I went with something a bit more intentional, while staying true to the shape of the dress.
I love the navy, red and black mix, although mustard and maroon would be pretty too!

Remember this dress? It came in the mail today, definitely ahead of schedule. The fabrication is quite beautiful and as we had predicted, it is a bit booby.
Is it too booby to wear out to dinner? With boy?

Hmm, on my uninspired mornings, I have noticed that certain things tend to play well together: Anthro is doing the trick this morning (I think!)
It is -34C today, so definitely thinking of ways to keep warm: fleecy tights it is!

My favorite "it's snowing" dress comes out to play! And it's sort of like the big dots yesterday!!
Wearing my dot dress yesterday confirms how much body con makes me very uncomfortable and this type of a dress with a flare, I think, works more for me.
Bonus for this dress: I can wear my warm thermals under it! :) That will be OUR little secret!

Aka: orphans out to play!
I had kept this sheath dress because it had been favorable at YLF at the time of purchase about a year ago. I haven't work it since because it is more body con than I usually wear. I am very aware of my belly and I am unsure how I feel about that.
This being said, I really like the bold dots against the big necklace (another favorite) that doesn't get a lot of wear because it is huge.
I was looking through a Kate Spade catalogue yesterday (dangerous sport) and I really loved their bold contrasts, so I thought I would play along too!

I am very fond of this dress, but I can't figure out where I can wear it as is... I don't really want to invest in it unless I can find a reasonable amount of places I can wear it to. The colours are very neutral so I can pair it with a whole bunch of colours and footwear, so I'm not too worried about that.
