Yay! Halloween! Our work unit wanted us to dress up and all the staff balked; it is a delicate balance between fun and work, especially when what I want to dress up as probably wouldn't be work appropriate (haha).
So here is my subtle ode to Harry Potter: layered necklaces and radish earrings!
Ps: love the skirt! Was a gift from my godfather for my birthday. I think he should buy all my clothes in the future! :3

Ugh. I ordered this dress online and they had used a stock photo to advertise. When it came it had clearly been modified and the previous owner was about 5 feet tall.
I stayed up late to let out the hem; but now you can see the results!!! Hope it was okay- so sleepy.

Hi ho! Back to work I go! A family emergency for a colleague means I am back in clinical duties after about 5hrs at home - but a few coffees and double checkin my work should be okay!!
Had to just throw together an outfit this morning and hopefully it works: thank goodness for our go to combos, right?? Navy and oxblood were easy enough and I hope the patterns can hide any stains if I spill on myself!!!
Off to get an extra extra large coffee!!!!

Yay! Back to the regular routine (including YLF) following my licensing examinations: now just to wait two moths for the results!
Dug far back into my closet for this dress: I think I found it at my first visit to Anthro. Can you remember a time it wasn't part of my life? Anthro seems like a mainstay for me these days!
And cute panda shoes!!! Although I love them I don't think I can wear them for work!

I think my new go to colour combination this season is navy and gold; it's so easy to mix them and they usually end up being pretty ok outfits!!
My H and M dress is out to play again (still love it; down to $5 CPW) and gold accessories were just too easy!

I haven't seen a lot of robin egg blue this year, but this was a survivor of that huge crush of pastels a few years ago - aka when I realized I don't like pastels (haha) but I hung into this cardigan because it wasn't that ugly baby blue colour which does nothing for me ;)

I think the drab fall colours work to make this not the most interesting outfit in the world: I don't think the camera picks it up well, but there is a subtle plaid in this jumper dress.
I really am a fan of the fall colours: the oxlips (HAHA, iPhone error - oxblood) and the grey and the navy, but I am thinking it's too many darks. Maybe this dress with white and mustard next week??
Also, booties came and the tops are too wide for my narrow calves. Sigh. #firstworldproblems. :3

Aha!
Finally found a mustard pencil skirt so I had to pounce!!
It is a bit shorter than my usual skirt length, but most of the other residents (and staff) go shorter around here. I am still not comfortable with this length for work though, but is great for a paperwork and academics day!! Actually, pencil skirts at work are sometimes hard!!
I think it will be fun to play with "for now" until I can find a work appropriate one! I was worried it wouldn't jive with my clothes.
What do you think? I wonder if there is a halogen one in this colour: YLF seems quite fond of that skirt!
