WiW: 1.27 - Feeling Uninspired Lately

Work has been a drag. Feeling like my wardrobe is reflecting this. Not much exciting things going on and I am getting a lot of flack from patients and staff.

Want to go bury my head in the sand for a bit.

This too shall pass.

You look just as great as usual! I know what you mean. What with my move, fashion has definitely taken a back seat. Sometimes I even leave the house without makeup :-)

I think it is the getting sick of the current hot/cold weather outfits, and craving some new season refreshers.
    You always look gorgeous though.

Well at least you look terrific. Dealing with people can be so difficult--especially in a setting like yours. Hang in there.

You look gorgeous as always. Try. Not to let things get you down. What sort of "flack" are you getting from people? To do with how you dress?..

  • annagybe replied 10 years ago

This is nice. Sorry it's been rough.

  • Gigi replied 10 years ago

Sorry you're having a tough time at work. You still look fab.

Maybe you could buy a metallic foil top so that the nasty comments would just bounce back to their owners? ;^)

@ Adelfa - Oooh, no makeup! So daring! :D Bet you looked cute anyway!

@ Twin Lyn - Yeah; I think it's time for something fresh!

    @ Kelly - Thanks :)

@ Deborah - No, nothing to do with how I dress. More like how I practice - some people come in demanding the earth and the sky and I can't provide it for them and they blow up and get explosive. Sigh.

    @ Anna - Thank you :)

@ Gigi - I wish. Tin foil hat is more like it ;)

Sorry you are going through a rough patch at work. I hope home life is good as compensation.

    You look lovely as always.

Lyn -- Sorry that things have been so tough at work. (Hugs to you.) But you really do look great (ladylike and simply lovely), if that is any consolation. I agree with your Lyn-twin that as we are all coming to the end of a season, we are probably ALL craving some change in our wardrobe. Perhaps this is a small part of what you are feeling right now. Hang in there -- and keep your head above the fray.

Everyone is probably down with the weather and feeling grumpy. You look great.

You look good - sorry to hear it's been tough lately.

Yes, mid winter is tough for everyone to keep their moods up!  You look wonderful!  Make sure to take really good care of yourself and play as hard as you work!!!!!

It's icky to feel icky, I hope things pick up soon.  On the plus side, you certainly don't look uninspired.  <3 the Navy Dress and Dark Red cardigan together.

Such a tough time of year. Hang in there. The light is coming.

  • Sara L. replied 10 years ago

Well, you look great.  The maroon sweater with the navy polka dots is a great combination.  I hope things get better at work soon.

  • Gracie replied 10 years ago

Cranberry cardi and polka dots look fab, not at all uninspired. I hope you get a break from your workload and plan to do some fun activities. I think the weather is to blame too, the winter blahs. Sunny days are ahead and you are looking great!
