WiW 10.29 - Double duty; 4.5 hrs sleep in 36 hrs!

Hi ho! Back to work I go! A family emergency for a colleague means I am back in clinical duties after about 5hrs at home - but a few coffees and double checkin my work should be okay!!

Had to just throw together an outfit this morning and hopefully it works: thank goodness for our go to combos, right?? Navy and oxblood were easy enough and I hope the patterns can hide any stains if I spill on myself!!!

Off to get an extra extra large coffee!!!!

Much love!!

Cannot believe how you can just throw things together and come out looking so fab! Love the playful pattern mixing. You are inspiring me to take more risk with pattern combos. Ladylike but not stuffy... just totally fun.

Poodles on your sweater and scottie dogs on  your phone cover!  Love the theme.  Also I've always been a huge fan of navy and oxblood and mixing in the camel makes it even more perfect.

Are those poodles on your cardigan? If so - good grief. I'm finished. How killer is that? And you look incredible after 4.5 hrs sleep. xo

Long work days are exhausting. It inspires and awes me that you are still able to dress like yourself for those shifts.

  • HelenInCanada replied 10 years ago

Love it!  Very arty yet tailored.  Fun yet totally work appropriate. You're a genius! Good luck on your shift, you hard-working lady - I'm sure if a patient got a peek at those poodles, he/she would be feeling much better!  Lifting spirits - check!!! :)

Lyn, you are amazing. You look great today, notwithstanding being so tired. Those poodles are awesome.

wow. yeah killer babe. I wish I could have even attempted to look " so cool" on  72 hr call back in the day. Grubby scrubs it was.

I would so want to date you if I were a guy at your hospital. Sigh.
