The Custom Experience; Part 2

(See Part One) ...

I tacked on sleeves to this dress as well, and liberated it from the stuffy collar design they had as well! It comes with a self belt, but I am not too fond of those!

Light and twirly, feel like a ballerina who has been invited for tea!

I might do more custom clothing if this works out; I feel a lot happier knowing things fit! Also a much better experience with eShakti this time as compared to three years ago! And their cotton quality has gone up as well!

The duties are a bit stuff coming to Canada though, but I am just going to factor these into cost.

Does this custom frock meet YLF standards?

I like this one even better than the first. It is so happy and a beautiful fit.

I like both dresses. You must have a big closet for all your pretty dresses.

    I just cull a lot ;)

I like this better than the first, also. It looks like you mood to go for tea.

Lyn, the bodice looks amazing on this one! It looks like it's really made to your measurements!

Regarding price/duty - is the duty quite hefty? Seeing your well-made, well-fitted garments is convincing me to try eShakti!

If you're American, eShakti gives you back your duties. I have to pony them as a Canuck.

It's not actually that much, about $20/dress. But there's usually a coupon for at least that much.

PM me your email if you wanna try :) I can send you that $35 off coupon!

    Thanks lyn! Will PM you!

Love both dresses! I've never tried eShakti, but sounds like it may be worth looking into.

So fresh, springy and twirly! I'm glad you're having good luck with these dresses.

Love this one! And especially after reading your description of how it feels.

Wowza, that fits you like a glove! So pretty and springy, too. Does the fabric have any stretch at all?

  • Gigi replied 9 years ago

Beautiful! The sleeves look good with it, imo.

You should take ballet lessons. It sounds to me like you would enjoy it a lot! And I think it's very good for building muscle.

Both of them look great. They truly do fit perfectly.

  • Alassë replied 9 years ago

Wow, just beautiful (soft spot for florals and ballerina dresses)! And great fit!

Both dresses are great, and the fit is perfect! I am going to have to look into this, I love dresses but have difficulty finding ones that fit properly. I'll PM you my email if I decide to order!

It's lovely on you! Very different mood from the first, and I like them both.

This material speaks to my Laura Ashley heart of hearts... much improved without the '80s puff sleeves, of course ;)
