Need YOUR votes for March dress! :)

I am trying to limit my dress purchases (haha) to only one a month, and I have a few nominees for Dress of March; 1 and 2!

To remind you; these are the dresses we have previously elected to keep!

If finances clouds your judgement; #1 is on sale while #2 isn't. I am unable to try either of them on, and all the stores closest to me are sold out of both styles - I will have to get them online, and the return policy is not kind (let's just say they're final sale). I am pretty confident they will fit as I have many things in this line of clothing. I like #1 for a change in colour, as well as the sleeves. #2 is dots! :)

Lemme know which one you think I should go for this month - 1 or 2! :)

ETA: And I found a "Cropped Denim Jacket" - $23 (on clearance with additional % off). Worth the try? #6 and 7.

I like #1! Love the shape and color.

  • rae replied 11 years ago

I vote #1 all the way. #2 is gorgeous, but it seems too similar in print and overall tone/wardrobe functionality to the others you have. Isn't it fun to have a line you can depend on for fit?

  • replied 11 years ago

    Oh, #1. Definitely.

  • Erica replied 11 years ago

I agree! #1 all the way!

  • CocoLion replied 11 years ago

    #1!!!

Good find with the denim jacket, it looks like it will go with all of your new dresses.

  • Beth Ann replied 11 years ago

#1 -- Strong color, great silhouette.

  • AJ replied 11 years ago

    Cobalt for the win!

Must try that denim jacket. : )

  • Ingunn replied 11 years ago

#1 and the denim jacket! Both are great finds.

  • Thistle replied 11 years ago

#1 all the way as my only choice, especially with the drapey neck. I do like the denim jacket, but I am always nervous about fit if you can't return. Still, might be worth a try!

  • rute replied 11 years ago

I'm between 1, 3 and 4! 3 is so funny I can see it with that jacket and ballet flats! 3 or 4 can easily be dress up or down!
Ok. I vote 3 and yes to that fab jacket!

  • Raisin replied 11 years ago

I think #1 too. Seeing all the cobalt is making me jealous! I think you have a lot of B&W graphic items, so the cobalt would be a good change, and goes so well with black.

  • ramya replied 11 years ago

Vote for 1... coz 2 and 3 have same pattern though I am a dotty myself :)

  • Mary Beth (formerly LBD) replied 11 years ago

I really like #1. #2 has something funky going on at the bustline on the model, and I wonder what it's going to look like on a real-life person, if it looks strange on the model?

#5 is really cute if you're looking for a spring dress to wear someplace more casual like an amusement park or other outdoor venue.

  • replied 11 years ago

I think 1 also! I like the jacket too, a lot.

  • pil replied 11 years ago

Another vote for #1. And a yes on the denim jacket - unless it is final sale too.

  • replied 11 years ago

I was going to vote for #1, but then I saw #2 and I am in love. Yes it is very similar to your other dress but what can I say? The first one would be a great color on you though!

  • replied 11 years ago

    I vote #1 too.

  • Transcona Shannon replied 11 years ago

I'm another vote for #1 - gorgeous colour. And the cropped denim jacket looks great.

  • Karie replied 11 years ago

#1 because you don't have one in that color for the year yet, and I love the vibrant cobalt of the dress!

  • Greek Goddess replied 11 years ago

I bought a red dress just like the number one.....it is so versatile to style and a total change from my usual style/colours. I would go for that one as you can wear it dressed up or down.

  • Angie replied 11 years ago

#1! I like the colour for your style.

  • DonnaF replied 11 years ago

Another vote for #1, as it is a change and the neckline/shoulders look like other items I have seen on you. #2 looks way too much like #3.

As to the denim jacket: It doesn't strike me as truly cropped in the way that I have seen other cropped denim jackets worn with dresses. In the photos, it appears to be shown with pants and to my eye, it is that type of length. What is its length? I am a Petite, so would probably want 17" or shorter. For you, probably under 19" to wear with dresses and skirts?

  • lyn* replied 11 years ago

Donna - the denim jacket length is actually only 18"! It hits the "top of hip bones" apparently, whatever that means :)

    Okay; #1 it is!

  • replied 11 years ago

Yay, I was going to vote for #1.

  • Day Vies replied 11 years ago

#3 I Love the big polka dots ;-)

  • lyn* replied 11 years ago

    Day Vies - I already own #3 :p

  • Kalli replied 11 years ago

I'm with 1 too, you seem a little dark in the wardrobe (blacks, greys, etc like me) time to get some color :)

  • Day Vies replied 11 years ago

ooops! I thought it looked familiar :-)
