I think it's a dark brown, but they call it grey :)

It is textured, but not really a stretchy knit. It's sort of herringbone-like, if that helps.

I love pockets! I think part of the reason why my pink blazer gets so much play is the pockets - they work great for holding my iPhone when I am out and about doing doctoring things (and not doctorly things - like getting coffee!)
