WiW: Song Birds on a Twirly Skirt!

What to wear on a non-clinical day is always challenging for me - but since people are showing up very casual, I always have to balance that with the chance that I will run into patients or supervising staff (or my med students!)

It is very warm and summery out today - so I tried not to go too heavy, although this top is part of Le Chateau's "winter" collection, I think the rest of the light colour balance out okay!

Is this outfit okay? :) I am fond of it - but since I tailored the skirt to fit, the pockets are not quite at the right places and sometimes if the skirt twirls, then I can't find the hole! HAHAHAHAHA. Oh dear.

ETA: Sorry - my little spiel got cut off the first time I posted from my phone, I don't quite know what happened! LOL.

Beautiful skirt and look at your tiny waist! Too funny about "losing" your pockets. :)

Just out of curiosity, what do you do on a non-clinical day? Reports and paperwork?
When you say the skirt twirls, do you mean it spins/moves around your tiny waist? What about adding belt loops?

Great outfit. Do you have a topper for in case you get chilly?

@ Pil - We have a combination of meetings and learning sessions - today we discussed our contract re-negotiaton talks and duty hours, as well as learned about the legal ramifications of certain paperwork that we do!

And by twirls, I mean it moves around my waist :( It's not that tiny. HAHA. It just looks that way ;)

@ Kristin - I have a jean jacket in my car an black cardi at work :)
