WiW: New Hair(style) and Feeling Like a Minion!

I loved Despicable Me and Gru's cute little yellow minions in overalls and it wasn't until I threw on the denim jacket did this dress remind me of them! Haha. Hopefully, more as a tribute than a complete homage!

I decided to try the half up hair thing someone had suggested to me, and while I do like the front view (1), my scalp is light coloured and does this look weird (3)?

ETA: My vintage Burberry belt arrived :) Just the way I like it - strong and subtle. Tee hee.

    Your scalp looks entirely normal to me... the hair is very cute this way!!

    I love despicable me, too, haha, but you don't look anything like a minion on this pretty dress, so I'd go with tribute.  You look summery and lovely!

    Your scalp looks fine. I really like your hair that way, it opens up your face. You and the minions are so cute!

    Your hair looks cute. I love the minions from those movies too! I think the denim jacket is a good tribute - I'm not a fan of overalls.

    Love the yellow + denim.  I think your scalp looks fine.  You could try brushing the top part all the way back, keeping it all a little looser in the barrette.

    I did a bit of scalp looking today - and noticed everyone has dyed hair. It's hard to find a non-dyed scalp to look at!!!!! >:( Grr.

    Thanks for all of your comments - I had a big white binder that I was holding in front of me today too, so it was like that BIG MINION EYE. :p Much fun, and light and summery. Still +30 here. Gonna die of heat.

    I like the outfit and the hairdo! I also like your specs; they're a great style on you. The minions are too funny! And yes I do see a slight visual allusion--which I wouldn't have gotten without your link, since I didn't see the movie. Ha ha!
