WiW: Goldenpig Inspired!

I had this skirt in my closet for awhile, but then I realized that Natalie (Goldenpig) and I were skirt twins! Time to take it out and wear, I thought!

:) Not on call today, but didn't forget my pager either! Yay!

Lovely, Lyn*! I really like your lace top - I'm looking for the perfect lace top and thinking cream.

You look lovely! I really think that belt was a great purchase for you.

Oh yay! Skirt twins! You look so fresh and lovely in this outfit. Beautiful lace top and pink cardigan. Fab belt too. Thanks for posting!

    Fresh, pretty and fabulous.

Great outfit! I love seeing the same skirt but in completely different outfits. Goldenpig's was darker and moodier and your version is lighter and more summery.

I got a lot of compliments on the skirt today - not really sure why, I have a ton of skirts, but things with flowers seem to make psychiatric patients happy. Maybe because they don't get to go outside too much?

@ Cobalt - I've had a few lace tops, I like this one because it has a bit of embroidery for interest. I get bored otherwise :p

    @ Ceit - I know, hasn't it? I've been wearing it a ton.

@ Natalie - I think it's so interesting how so many outfits can be made with similar things, especially in the hands of  different people!

    @ Thistle - Thanks!

@ Sara - Indeed, I think that when it gets chillier, I may try to do a Natalie copycat :)

    Nice look.
I once lost a pager. Didn't realize it until after my call shift was over. I *think* nothing happened.

    Thanks, Anna!

I lost a code pager once as a med student. That didn't go well.

Love this kind of floral --- it's pretty, but more "dramatic" than "cutesy."  I bet that seeing someone dresses in a colorful, ladylike way does lift the mood of people stuck in side, in a medical crisis.

I like the strong belt -- something earthy kind of "grounds" the flowers.

I Love this! It's sweet (the colors) with a little edge (the belt) keeps it from looking too Stepford Wives.  The top is absolutely adorable -- I love it.

Oh very chic! Love the lace top with that fab skirt. You look very French Riviera to me :)
