WiW: Flowers in Winter?

I was inspired by a recent summer dress in winter post from Anne B and pulled out one of my favourites!

Also, I heard Taylor Swift had the same dress. I figure I should wear it a ton so she realizes its mine :p

Love,

Lyn

You wear a dress like nobody's business! Eat your heart out, Swifty. ;-) I could see this with a black cardigan too. And I love your phone cover.

Great dress! I love the dark hose and necklace with it for this time of year!

It looks great !!!! But Taylor knew that which is why she got it. Which boy band member do you want to date now?

You look lovely, as usual :)

You look great! Every part of your outfit looks like it plays well with each other.

Sweet dress, and I love the juxtaposition with the strong belt. Beautiful!

Great dress! I love the green cardigan with it. Too funny about Taylor Swift.

Very romantic dress. You look fab!

I love it. You reflect my inner girl. I really love the sage with the rose on the white background. With winter's heavy color palette this feels so light an airy. Most importantly the fit is spectacular! And tell Taylor to give you back your dress! ;-)

    Sweet! Very "Spring" actually.

It's funny - I wouldn't think this dress could translate into winter very well and yet, you've totally pulled it off! Lovely.

lyn, you are adorable and, of course, you had to give Taylor Swift notice! I especially like the connection of Spring with the "Robin's egg" blur cardigan. Lovely. :)

I love the dark opaque hose with light floral. Super pretty ensemble.

Very spring like, and the cardigan in light blue gives it the right amount of an icy/cool feel to look appropriate right now. Most of all its refreshing to see amongst all the heavy weight fabrications and dark shades of winter! You carry a dress so well!

So pretty! I really love the light blue cardi with this.

Gorgeous! You have inspired me to wear a dress to tomorrow's holiday party. I have been doing black pants and red sweater which is festive but boring. Tomorrow I will break out a flowered dress, black tights, and a colorful cardi to be a Lyn* copycat!

Lovely way to winterize a dress.

  • Carole replied 11 years ago

Love this to pieces, especially with the robin egg blue sweater!

Taylor Swift, eat your heart out!

@ Janet - I was going to wear a black cardigan; funny you should mention it, but my black one is missing.
@ Isabel - I was hoping to go after a Kennedy, today...
@ Day - Taylor has it in blue, too!
@ Shannon - Me neither! That's why it was in my summer closet!
    @ JuneBug - I guess that's why I don't wear pants?
    @ JulieJohn - I can't wait to see it!!!!!
@ Carole - I've never owned anything in this colour before, I think it's pretty :)

I love that dress. It is so beautiful and looks just amazing on you! So glad you were able to style it into a little winter use!

Beautiful! Who knew blue and pink could look so not-nursery together?

Where I live, roses are DEFINITELY a winter flower---hundreds of flower shows all across the country to back me up ;-)

    You are too funny lyn!

It is so nice to see a WIW from you, this outfit is truly a breath of fresh air!

Lyn this looks lovely. I do like the black opaque hose against the soft spring colors,
