WiW: a rare day off!

Well, I'm still struggling a fair bit with my "casual" wardrobe, but since I'm going out tonight with my friends for dinner (welcome to the new residents - haha, I'm not a new resident anymore!) - I figured that a nice breezy dress can't go wrong! And flats are not intimidating to anyone, right? :)

I really love these earrings - but I rarely wear them because they are so huge - I had them from my short haired days (which really wasn't that long ago).

I initially had a black belt, but took it off because I was running into the black belt problems I had earlier in the week (which aren't ninja problems!) 

I'm not 100% happy with this outfit either, but I"m not quite sure why. Hmm. Any thoughts?

    It looks wonderful as styled and I love the flats. I wouldn't change a thing.

    I am impressed that on your rare day off you are doing anything other than sleeping!   But I guess that is me, a new mom, talking... I digress.

    Enjoy your dinner and the dress is super cute and the earrings are too.

    Why not happy? I think you look perfect. ETA. The phone case provides great pattern mixing with the dress. So think about holding the phone at all times for maximum style impact. :-)

    The outfit is cute! Maybe change up your hairstyle to a higher on the crown ponytail? The low ponytail seems to be competing with your earrings and glasses for attention.
