I love the double buckle belt + dress combo! You inspired me to get a similar belt.

LOVE the floral dress with the cognac belt. So lyn and so pretty!

That dress is SO pretty!  I love the colors in the flowers and the belt works beautifully!  I bought my first apple product a few years ago (macbook pro) and I think we bought apple care????  We also bought training time.  We've never used any of it which I guess is a testament to a great product.  So I'm not sure I'd feel I need to buy it again.  Have fun with your toy!

One of my colleagues uses Apple things and he always gets AppleCare, but that is because we take laptops out in the field and stuff.

Love the dress and the belt. I wish I was less elliptical sometimes so I could show off a pretty waist like yours.

I got the Air too, my first iPad and I am in loooooooove.  Congrats!

    YLF too :)

ETA: I don't do apple care nor any add on extended warranty, they just don't prove to be valuable for me.

Oooh, prettttty.... (floral dress, ipad air...)  Jealous of your new toy.

I get Applecare for my laptops only.  I had one that I fried two batteries and the DVD drive on, and my husband had one that had so many things replaced (we're talking multiple screens, hard drive, motherboard, etc) that they finally gave up and just gave him a brand new one which never had a problem after that.  My current one has never had a problem either but I've had enough experiences to think that applecare is worth it for laptops.  I've never had to take my ipad (almost 3 years old now) in for service.

YES, I buy AppleCare! My iPad mini fell off an ottoman onto the rug in a case and the screen shattered. If I'd had AppleCare, it would've cost me $79 to get a replacement. They let me buy AppleCare after the fact (I was still within 30 days) but had to pay around $200 total to replace. Now I don't skimp! I think the narrower bezel might make the screens more susceptible to shattering. The Air and Mini both have the narrow bezel.

    Lovely outfit! Great dress!!

You must buy applecare for any portable computer. when you drop it, the replacent parts are super expensive. Applecare will cover alot of that kind of damage.

wow. love your new toy! I didn't know reading your title if it was new jewelry or a boy toy!

    :)

That Ruby Belle dress is PRESH USS on you!!!

I would get AppleCare. The first gen iPads are built like steel but the later ones seem to have poorer quality glass. DH has had the glass crack twice and he doesn't even remember dropping it both times.

Love the flowers and the new toy!  I have purchased Apple Care, but even without, I find that Apple does a good job of standing behind their products.  I went through 3 iPads originally -- the first two -- yep, two in a row, were defective.  They replaced twice.  Sheesh.  The iPad2 we have now works beautifully and is 1 1/2 years old.

I swear by the Genius Bar at the Apple store.  They've been very helpful.

Apple takes such good care of my and my old macbook I never felt like I had the need. Love the black background on the dress.

I get AppleCare. Like peacechick says, the newer computers (not just Apples) aren't built like they used to be. I always feel safer knowing that if something happens, I'm covered. And if you are familiar with Murphy's Law, you know that if you *don't* get the AppleCare, something will for sure go wrong!

Pretty dress.  I really like the blazer with it.

We have had all apple products (computers, laptops, phones, ipads) for about 10 years, and have never had applecare.  No problems.
