  This is not what I would call a sheath. Fun frock though. I love the pockets.

  I see what you mean. Above the knee + less flare or ease than you're used to can mean sitting with your knees pinched together all day. *sigh* It's a pretty dress though!

  I have the same problem but I still wear them. But I can see how they could be an annoyance for you in your line of work :-) Still, you look great.

  I like this shape of dress on you, and Pockets!!! It's always interesting to me how our body dynamics and attitude change to adapt to what we are wearing...

  We were required to wear skirts or dresses in high school. Full skirts were a PITA when walking outdoors and minis were just wrong for anything except standing, arms at sides, on level ground. In college I fell in love with pants. Freedom!

  I was gonna say... I wouldn't call that a sheath ;) most of MY frocks are sheaths ;)

  Nonetheless - you look so pretty in this and I love the cut and print. The neckline, in particular, is a nice feature!
