Help!// Do I need a new style descriptor?

In between all my crazy work days, I've managed to keep up with my shopping and have noticed a shift in my personal style! Look at all the separates - I'm having great fun mixing and matching things; and these are my 15 planned purchases for Spring aside from footwear :)

Does anyone see any common themes or words I can use for a style descriptor? :)

PS: No pants is more of a mantra than a descriptor! LOL.

I'm not good with descriptors, but I just had to swoon over your spring picks!! 1,2, and 8 are particularly steal worthy! : P

This makes me think of what Betty Draper might wear, if she found herself transplanted into 2013. So...

    Mad Men Modern
    Betty 2013

Oh, I love a challenge, I'm going to go with Modern Romantic.

The first word that struck me was Dainty followed by Ladylike. but it also looks pretty practical. Nice selection.

What was your style descriptor before?

All of those sound good. Great spring picks.

Where do you find dresses like #1 that seem to have more length?

I love #3, where is it from? I ordered this one from Land's End and actually thought of you... but your take is definitely flirtier. Hmmm, maybe flirty belongs in your descriptor ;)

    Yes! Betty Draper!

Dress #1 is from ASOS - I find their "Midi" dresses and skirts too long for me :(
Skirt #3 is from ASOS as well :D

I've never seen Mad Men - is that terrible?

I love all of these, lyn! I see a real trend of feminine sophistication in each of these pieces, as well as the retro vibe. I'm not good at descriptors, but I will say that I hope you get each of these and wear the heck out of them! :)

    retro princess

Yeah, I got nothing. I do believe that modern princess doctor and twirly belong in there somewhere. My descriptor took forever to be born.
