Dear YLF!
Good morning! An outfit I was really excited to wear today in a colour I do not usually wear: green! Apparently, Taylor Swift also wore this dress (which I found out after I had bought it) so it was always sold out!
What do you all think? Is the colour ok? Is my gut sticking out? :p
I liked the play on stripes and dots... Now it's time for me to find my boots!

Your gut is NOT sticking out! It looks adorable on you and love those polka dot legs under it :-) The cute stripes and little black belt help tie together the tights. that's a good shade of green for your hair and for holding its own against black.

Cute outfit! Great dress and I love the green color. I never wore green in the past, but since last year I'm a fan. Your pattern mixing is great! And I'm jealous of your polka dot tights (mine were ripped and I haven't found a replacement yet). You look fabulous! :)

Very pretty, and I really love the pin dot tights! The dress looks like it drapes perfectly over the dreaded pooch area, which I know well even on slim gals. The cardi is the perfect completer piece.

For a moment I thought you already had shoes on. My feet are so square that pointy shoes are just torture, and I'm just not used to seeing that kind of profile when I look down. ;o)
Ha, JR, me too! My parents affectionately call me duck feet because my feet are basically square along my toes. I always thought I must look like the witches in Roald Dahl's book when I wear socks! :)

Thanks ladies~ the outfit was an interesting conversation starter with a few of my patients today (one person suggested I wear the green dress with a Christmas sweater).
@ Christy - Tall brown boots; so my shins don't get cold! -10 today!
@ Astrid - The tights are from a children's store ($2.99 tights, I can't say no!) - and I bought quite a few pairs just in case they rip!
@ Natalie - :P That's not gut if you're preggers!
