WiW: Showcasing Statement Prints?

Sometimes I am pretty happy when a dress or a skirt can stand on its own to be interesting, but I find that sometimes I do have additional struggle of not wanting to overwhelm!

I hope I did okay here: I really like how the city changes from dawn to dusk (great for a call shift, right?) so I tried not to interfere with this pattern.

Cardi: Forever21
Dress, Belt: Anthropologie
Necklace: Rickis

The print is gorgeous and the cut is flattering. I love the dawn-colored cardi you put with it.

Love the way you handled this.  The print is fun and graphic, but as you said, very much a statement. I love the elegance of the cardi and belt. It adds a delicious pop of color, but still lets the pattern speak.

The trim shape of the dress, along with the b/w in the print keep it from overwhelming.  You look lovely, Lyn!

Oh I love this dress!  I think you did a great job of allowing it to stand out on it's own.  You look great!

This is such a fantastic dress - the pattern is graphic and not cutesy but still intriguing.

I adore that print. Rose tones are a great complement. Pick-your-number/10.

Thanks so much :3 I really am fond of this dress, and I saw someone with the same one today - we had a good laugh over it, and it turns out we have a lot of the same clothes, but a totally different style! It's so neat to see the same things worn in different ways!
