WiW: Orphan Challenge!

I remember why this skirt became an orphan: it's so hard to find a top! Not too happy, but running late!

I think the top you chose looks good. I think just about any colour would work.

Looks great! What's hard to style about the skirt - waist too high?

I love this skirt! I also agree that just about any color top would work, especially when you tuck it in. Wearing a top that isn't tucked might be tricky. The shoes and blazer you chose look great with it too. A white/cream colored blazer would also work.

It looks great the way you styled it.  I have trouble styling all my skirts, I don't think it's the skirt's fault though, just mine.

I think this skirt might look good with Angie's banded top formula also. Rickis has some nice drape neck sweaters with a banded hem.

The skirt outfit looks wonderful as you've styled it. I love this length and the pale pumps.

It looks great. What is hard about a top? The color or sillouhette?

This fits with your longer skirt style direction. It sill has the fit and flare vibe but more sophisticated. Love this.

I think it's hard to find a too because of the high waist and the colour: maybe navy?

I think it looks lovely as styled. I can see the difficulty with the high waist, but so many colors would go with it! Navy, berry colors, cream.

Looks really nice. Tucking the top in works well. You could try a cropped jacket with it too. The top and jacket in the same colour might work well? The skirt is the star and everything else is the supporting act. Love it!

This is really cute, Lyn! Seems like you could wear any neutral top!

I love this skirt. The shape of it is definitely in your normal style the print not as much. However I love the print it is a lot more bold than your regular taste. Having said all that I still think this is a great outfit!
