WiW 8.21 - Unintentional Matchy Matchy

At least with my cellular phone case! :)

Just something easy, and a copy of my schedule this week! Having a lot of fun these days with paper craft I can do in between seeing patients: a great stress relief for me!

Hope everyone is well! It's almost cold enough today for fall clothes!

Very ladylike; I like the belt/shoes match. And your planner is very fun! I'm glad you have such a good outlet for stress.

Cute dress and I like how belt and shoes match

Super cute and love with the brown accents!

  • Suz replied 3 years ago

That is super, super cute, Lyn. Those are my favourite kind of polka dots.

Love the brown with this--helps keep the otfitfrom going too retro--and I love red polkadots!
It is almost cool enough for fall.(My kids actually turned on the furnace last night!) In fact, I'm wearing one of my "fall" shirts.

Love how the cognac tones down the brights & this silhouette flatters you so beautifully. :)

We're still in endless summer here though. Sigh. I love fall.

Cute outfit, but even cuter schedule!! I totally want one (but not pre-filled with your crazy doc schedule ;) ).

@ Alasse - I suppose it is a healthy way to blow off steam! That and weights!

@ Mala - I think that was an accident :p Thanks!

@ Doubleh - I am starting to fall in love with this belt!

    @ Suz - Me too :)

@ Alana - OMG. It is so cold. I need an extra comforter!

    @ E - I love fall too!

@ Aida - It's from Limelife Planners, they're a lovely group of ladies that make them :)

Playful elements are so essential in a life with serious work!  Love the cheery red and the phone case!

Polka dots & Pockets! I would wear this entire ensemble - it is just so awesome! I would only change the shoes to heels instead of flats coz of my own personal need to add height to my frame. You look perfect!

You have some of the best dresses! I love the navy and red together. And what's better than a dotty dress with pockets?

  • MsLuna replied 3 years ago

I'm loving that polka dot dress! Love how the phone matches!

    And cuuuute papercraft!

Your dress is lovely on you and looks like it fits really well. The planner looks like fun. What a great way to start the day with a smile when checking your appointments.
Enjoy your cool weather and send some to Kansas.

@ Beth Ann - It's nice to be able to work with young people too, because you can have a bit of fun!

@ T - I have this really deep blister on my heel and I've had to stick to flats all week. Bleeeeeeh.

@ K - Clearly two dotty dresses with pockets!

@ Katie - Thank you :) I love my planner!

@ Joy - It makes me wonder if I have ADHD sometimes!!! And it's very cool today - I had to wear my leather jacket ;)

Lyn, great dress! I think the colors are great. This is slightly off topic, but probably relevant to your fashion choices. Looks like you are heading for the same profession I have loved for the past 20 years! Awesome! I hope you are doing a child and adolescent fellowship, if that is how it works in Canada. I know my work heavily influences what I wear. I aim for professional, comfortable, relatable, and always something fun . So important to maintain your sense of playfulness if you work with kids (and adults also). It helps you connect, and it also provides stress relief. Love your paper craft. Creative hobbies of any sort are a great outlet.
