WiW 7.17 - Topper or Not?

Quick and simple question today!

Excuse my storage closet and camping gear! The door fell off it's hinges and the repairman (aka dad) isn't going to be around for a bit!

For work? I prefer it with the topper. The fabric looks like it has quite a bit of sheen (or maybe that's the lighting?). The topper tines down the sheen and the drape a bit. Yay fancy!

Such a pretty dress!  Like Meredith, I would the topper if it is for work, but if not, I would skip it.

What Meredith and Tanya said. Beautiful dress.

Whee! No topper for drinks later! :)

For work, with topper. Otherwise, I prefer it without.

Pretty dress. I like no topper best.

Gorgeous colors - I like dresses that you can "professionalize" for work and then remove the topper for drinks.

I think it works both ways equally well so for me, it would be a matter of function.  Do you need it for warmth?

I like it best with no topper. But if you prefer a topper for work, than I think the cardi works well :)

    Thanks ladies :)

It's a blazer - one of my few blazers that fits me in the arms still - haha; and it has my Star Trek pin. Although one of my patients did ask me what that was all about and if I was going to leave for Starfleet Medical soon... (I wish).

Hmm; this dress rides a bit short during the day, but I think it's probably fine enough. I'm just not used to this length.

It's warm enough to go without :)

I like the blazer with the dress for work. But for going out after, I agree - leave it off. The dress looks great on you.

The dress is gorgeous on you; blue is really your color! I, too, would wear it with the blazer for work and remove the blazer afterward.
