WiW 6.16 - Sleeves and No Topper!

A beautiful day out with a ton of sun!!!

I personally love this dress! Pockets! Sleeves! Organic fair trade cotton! And birds!!

Hope it is YLF ok? Not a fit and flare!

It's pretty! I think it would look better without the belt, though.

Four stars****!  I love these sleeve length on you and the birdies are fab. I like the nude pumps/belt with the navy, such a nice combo. Enjoy your sunny day!

Pretty per usual, oh and your wearing the hoops again, nice.

The simplicity of the style is very flattering and allows us to enjoy the fun print. This is a winner!

Ahhh, now I see why all the belts factor into your outfits!

    Thanks everyone!

I forgot to sit test it before I went to work! Luckily it was ok! :)

OMG girl, just because you wear a sheath, doesn't mean it's not OK :) you can rock the sheath as much as the fit and flare, and this is lovely on you!

    Beautiful!

Agreed! Great dress on you. And actually nice to see a different silhouette. LOL about the belt necessity.

I love it, and I love how it hit all the right points - style, color, sleeves, fabric, and of course birds (I love bird prints!). I also think that the shoes are beautiful with it. You look wonderful!

    Totally works.
Majorly smirking at pager of doom. I think I call mine "my little buddy", when I'm not wanting to toss it out the window, while I'm driving across a bridge. I fantasize about the splash.

There's a sign in the surgery on-call room over the toilet: "PLEASE DO NOT FLUSH PAGER DOWN TOILET. WILL CLOG THE PIPES."

I guess it happens fairly often.

I really like this dress! It's a gorgeous shade of blue.

Pardon my nitpickiness...but in the second photo, is there extra material that is poking out the back of the dress, around the hips? It may just be how you were standing. I had this happen to me on a skirt from BR once, and I had to return the skirt and get a new one because the zipper wouldn't lie flat and was causing the material to bunch.

  • lyn* replied 9 years ago

Oh, that's a standing thing. It lies flat when I'm being less weirdly contorted. :) Thanks for the tip though; I'll check my dress-bum from now on just in case the zippers are sewn poorly.
