WiW 5.14 - Blogger Inspired; No Excuses for Fab!

No patient care today, but meeting with a bunch of faculty for an informal BBQ/picnic lunch!

I thought dark separates would be safe from spillage of BBQ sauce!!!

Ps: had a good sleep. Feel great. Actually feeling relieved! Thanks for all your support.

Great outfit! I love the browns on top of the black and white--such a flattering and unexpected touch. Ah, the feeling of relief is a good sign--glad to hear it. Wishing you a fun time at the barbecue.

This is such a great outfit. I love the neckline on you -- so flattering. The skirt is beautiful and so on trend. The matching belt, shoes and jacket add a sophisticated finishing touch.
I'm glad the you are feeling better today.

    Fantastic skirt.

Love the print if the skirt! The length is refreshing and the silhouette so fab on you! You look terrific!

    Nice...I like the high contrast.

I recently bought a sleeveless top with a cowl neck, similar to what you've got on here. However, I find that when I bend over, the whole top opens up at the cowl neck and exposes pretty much *everything*. Do you have that problem with this top too? I'm trying to decide whether to keep the top.

  • lyn* replied 10 years ago

Gigi - I sometimes have the same problem, but not with this top, because it's drapey, but the shoulders are well fitted, so it holds the "floppy bit" kind of close to my chest, if that makes any sense.

Love this ensemble and yay for camouflaged BBQ spillage AND looking fab, as always!

  • Gigi replied 10 years ago

Yes, I see what you mean. I looked closer at your top, and I see that (1) the straps on yours are wider than on mine, and (2) your cowl neck is not as deep as mine. So that would hold the material closer in to your body. Seriously, when I bend over in mine, I expose so much that I really might as well not bother with a shirt at all, ha ha.
