WiW: 2.20 - Bold on Bold

Aka: orphans out to play!

I had kept this sheath dress because it had been favorable at YLF at the time of purchase about a year ago. I haven't work it since because it is more body con than I usually wear. I am very aware of my belly and I am unsure how I feel about that.

This being said, I really like the bold dots against the big necklace (another favorite) that doesn't get a lot of wear because it is huge.

I was looking through a Kate Spade catalogue yesterday (dangerous sport) and I really loved their bold contrasts, so I thought I would play along too!

I love this outfit! It looks super cute on you and I especially like the giant flowers of the necklace against the polka dots. YLF!

I agree. It's fun and cute. I like the similar colors in necklace and belt.

Your dotty dress is adorable and looks absolutely fabulous on you. The necklace is gorgeous. Yes… it is a very "Kate Spade" look. Awesome!

First, you look amazing.  Second, seriously, you look great.  The dress is gorgeous and shows off your enviable figure.

So chic! The dress definitely looks Kate Spade. I like this look on you.

This is a great combination lyn - the bold necklace is so fab against the dotty dress.

My dear, no one but you is even aware that you even have a belly.  Love the awesome necklace.

I love the graphic dots paired with the muted organic neutrals. Lovely!

    The cardigan/dress/belt combo is fantastic.

  • carambola replied 10 years ago

Fun combination! You look fantastic as always. I see no belly at all.

Looks great! The necklace with the dress is amazing, and it's cohesive with the boots as well.   You have no tummy to worry about, but if you think you see something we don't, this is when I wear the higher-waisted control top tights or undies.

That looks very nice! The necklace added is fab.
I really like mixing gray with warm neutrals and I have more "tan" or camel or cream-colored necklaces on my wish list, to mix with gray, black and berry tones.

Stunning Lyn!  The combination is fun and interesting.  Really like how the dots get increasingly larger.

One day, I will find a shirt with one HUGE dot on it for you, Freckles!!! :)

    Ha ha Lyn!

  • carter replied 10 years ago

Ooooh! I really love this. Keep this dress in rotation. Belly? Really? No way.

  • LACeleste replied 10 years ago

Looking great as usual Lyn!  Keep rocking the dots and flowers!

  • lyn* replied 10 years ago

    Tee hee, thanks ladies...

The belly got bigger all day at work - and I remember why I don't usually like to wear this dress. I am thinking it may work well as a top, though! :)
