WiW: 2.14 - Happy Valentine's Day!

Aha! I had almost forgotten about my red-ish "picnic table cloth" dress! I had bought this for an event last summer that didn't end up happening, but I tried to winterized it for today!

I have been struggling with my blazers recently because my arms are getting bigger from workouts (and bonbons). The linings are leaving marks on my arms. Bah! :( only two fit right now. At least this one does!

  • Dress, Blazer: Anthropologie
  • Necklace: Yellow Owl Workshop
  • Boots: Aldo
ETA: Close up stock photo of pendant - aka my opinion of relationships!

Very pretty! I like the little peek of polka dots from the rolled sleeves.

  • Astrid replied 10 years ago

Love it! Is that a polka dot lining?

I hate sleeves that are cut too narrow...

You look gorgeous Lyn!  Enjoy today!

Thanks! No big plans: boy is away looking after his grandfather post surgery. First follow up appointment today :)

How delightful Lyn, you look fab.  Sorry your valentine is away  today.

Gorgeous dress and perfect for today. I hear you on the building muscle issue... a trade off for sure but worth it... add to it that many blazers are cut really slim on the arms/armholes and it gets uncomfortable. Loving the elbow patches on the blazer. I can't see the necklace and am intrigued... it has blue and red... what is the shape?  Happy Valentine's!

  • Diana replied 10 years ago

You're wearing red!  =D  (See, I think this red is quite flattering on you, no?  Especially paired with black.)

Happy Valentine's Day!  I expect mine is going to be very low key too - my husband has a huge project at work due today and did not sleep last night, so I think he is going to be out like a light the minute he gets home, LOL.

    Oh! It's a Venn diagram!

Very pretty! I really love the blazer lining, such a nice touch!

  • Ornella replied 10 years ago

    You look lovely in red.

And those anatomically correct heart shaped cookies are...?

I love the polkadots and elbow patch details on the jacket. It looks great with the subtle plaid on the dress. It's perfectly flirty. Happy V-Day Lyn!

I like the polka dots and red. Very nice!

  • lyn* replied 10 years ago

@ Astrid - You bet it is! The flip side of the collar has dots too!

@ Gracie - But it sure is handy to have the muscles when your'e trying to carry groceries down the street! HAHA - I uploaded a closeup of the pendant for you!

@ Freckles - It's okay; he sent me chocolates. Nom nom nom.

@ Diana - I had totally forgotten about this red dress, I quite like this colour! Sharp eye! A good night's sleep is the best gift EVER.

    @ Ornella - Eaten.

Very romantic!  I really like the elbow patches on the sleeves.  That necklace is too cute!

  • Gracie replied 10 years ago

Ooooh, thank you Lyn*!  I see the pendandtnow... so cute... I like the proportions of the larger You and Me areas and the smaller, purple "we." He he... from experience, that purple area is going to start growing... consider yourself warned :)

  • lyn* replied 10 years ago

Well, as long as it's not one big purple circle, I'll be happy.
