I think it was an American Target commercial than paired this dress with a red cardigan; I remember seeing the pairing years ago, but it suddenly came to me when dressing this morning! I think it works!

@ Emily - The scotties may be making a comeback, because my boss has the same phone case as me (the bow ties one!) YIKES. What if she grabs my phone by mistake and sees all the games I have on it? :p

It certainly does work, lyn! I love the way you have scrunched up the sleeves to the waist where the dress flares- visually this effect looks really balanced! The boots take the dress from prim to casually sassy and fun!

Tee hee hee, my patents aren't really the smiling type, but most of them usually have a comment or two about my outfits - I think it's nice, it gives us something to talk about that isn't hospital related!
