WiW: 11.15 - In which my hair decided to stick out

This whole new hair thing drove me batty this morning because it was just sticking out! Straight! Had to break out the bobby pins lest I have a straight lock like Mae Hughes (Fullmetal Alchemist reference for the win!)

This dress was a gift from a friend's closet and had a deep v which she found annoying and hard to wear for work when you didn't want to do the layered cami look. I think I may have successfully solved that issue ...

Did you solve the issue by wearing the dress backwards by any chance? Love the colors and pattern in the dress.

    LOL the hair reference!

Looks like you successfully solved both the hair and the deep v neckline problem.  Well done!

Is that dress backwards?  Smartypants.  Looks good on you!  How does the back look - could you rock the deep v in the back for evening?

    Tee hee. Totally backwards.

The v looks great for dinner! :)

Terrific and creative way to wear the dress!

    Lovely dress, and love FMA.

Love the print on that dress. So clever to wear it backwards.

I can totally commiserate on the hair issues. I have coarse Asian hair and no matter how long it is, there are always a few short spiky hairs that want to stick up and require a little gel for taming. I'm not sure if it's new growth or breakage, but it's annoying, whatever it is.

I'm afraid we'll have to arrest you for having a waist that tiny, Ma'am.

Beautiful dress Lyn. I love the "brushstroke" impression on the print. Backwards??? That is ingenious. One would never know. And you get 2 dresses for the price of one.

Love the dress. Now your friend is going to be jealous that she is not as smart as you to wear it backwards. ;)

    Great solution!
You look very pretty in that dress.

You look so polished, I couldn't tell at all it was backwards! Your friend will be kicking herself now haha!
