WiW: 03.17 - A Trip to the Hospital :(

Bah, I was having pretty severe abdominal pain all day and didn't think anything of it - yeah, doctor heal thyself. Luckily, caught it early enough.

No appendicitis, but similar to it (instead of the appendix swelling it is a fat tag on the side of the colon). Conservative management only! :)

Everyone remarked on how springy my skirt was, though! How cheerful! Lol, next time
I should go in my pjs to match the other patients!

Have a lovely day!

Fun pattern mixing but I'm sorry you weren't feeling well.

So maybe it wasn't the ice cream after all! Glad you are feeling better.

Oh dear.  Tummy troubles are so painful.  I hope you are feeling better.

I adore your outfit - one of my favorites!  Love the patterns, shape and color.  I don't often see blue and yellow in fashioin.  Is the skirt new?

Glad you caught it and happy healing!  I absolutely love this combination of the cardigan/skirt/striped top with the brown leather.

    Yowsers. Killer ice cream!
Colors and patterns are terrific. That is a great way to do "spring" for non-pastels--need to remember that!

I'm glad you were able to get help for the pain! I thought maybe you were going to be modeling a hospital gown in this post. :^)

Your outfit is really lovely! It is so cheerful.

That sounds very painful, lyn*, I'm so sorry. I do hope you can get this under control soon. And my word, you are the most stylish looking patient for sure. And fun pattern mixing :-)

  • deb replied 10 years ago

Oh, painful, but you look very good!

  • Kristin L replied 10 years ago

Eek! I hope your feeling better.

Your outfit looks great. I love the striped top and the floral skirt. It's very spring-like.

Thanks so much, YLF. Feeling 110% better today (aka the fat tag twirled and fell off and died) - So happy! Need to have cookies to celebrate!

@ Pil - I love pattern mixing, it's just an excuse to wear whatever the heck I want :p

@ Ceit - Tee hee, I should celebrate by eating ice creams ;)

@ Jeanie - This skirt isn't new, it's from ModCloth and you can still purchase it. I bought it about 3 years ago and it still is ++fabulous!

@ Unfrumpled - More traditional pastels don't usually work too well for me, so I have to balance them out with richer tones.

@ Gigi - I was a little angry I had to wear one. I tried not to be a grumbly patient.

Springy anything looks amazing to me now!  Love the warm sunny skirt!

  • Aubergine replied 10 years ago

Ow! I think you definitely deserve cookies.

Love the colors and drape of the skirt and it's wonderful with the stripes.
