Not my usual cup of tea ... worth a try?

I saw this navy (my new favorite neutral) dress on the RW&Co website, and haven't had a chance to pop down to the store to try it out. I have stopped shopping here for awhile, due to quality and sizing issues - but I think I might give it a go again!

I am eyeballing this navy shirt dress - but it's not really a style I really go for; should I give it a whirl? It sort of has the elements I love - a flowy skirt, a fitted waist - and sleeves will be a bonus for when I can't wear my cardigans all over the place in the warmer weather!

;) I don't think I'll wear it to recline on white sofas though!

Well if you do, I'm sure you'll sit like a lady and keep the dress buttoned up! Sexy face alert here...

I like it a lot but I've lost track of where you are in your closet replenish. This would be a different, sophisticated silhouette for you. I love the chiffon.

HAHAHA; I will keep my sexy duck face to a minimum for you, Claire ;)

I think I'm heading a direction that's more easy to mix and match; and to bring out more accessories. I'm wearing gold toned stuff a lot more :| it's weird, a year ago I don't think I owned gold toned anything!

I love the dress and I know you can pull it off. (do stay off the precarious sofa poses though) Hope it works.

I think the dress would be very versatile and would love to see it on you. If you really like it you could also purchase the white couch as an accessory! Seriously, I can see you wearing something like this.

This is a great classic dress that will never go out of style lyn - and then you can punch it up with your personal touches. I think it's definitely worth a try.

I like it a lot, Lyn, and think it would look great on you. It is just a question of the quality. Which I guess you won't know until you see in person.

I agree, I think it's lovely. Classic and modern. If the fabric's nice it could be a winner.

    What Suz said.

It does look pretty and I like that the buttons are covered. The matching slip under looks a bit low in the neckline and then there is the thin straps that don't hide bra straps. That would be my personal concerns with the dress.

You should, and I bet you would look fantastic in it too. Try it with booties!

Thanks for posting this lyn*, I might try it myself. I'll be interested to see it on you!
