K/R: More Anthro!

The mailman came to the door with two more boxes from Anthro today - and for some reason, they pack one thing in each box (that's probably why they charge $20 for shipping!) but it works just fine for me - more fun of taking boxes apart! :)

For your consideration, there are two dresses :)

#1-4) The construction is not bad on this dress, although it's only lined in the top half, it would be super easy to wear a slip on the bottom, so this doesn't really bother me too much. The "origami fold" on the chest I thought would really bug me, but I kind of like it. I think that it's pretty easy to dress up or down, and the pattern is one that is forgettable enough :p

#5-9) This second dress is wonderfully soft; I am pretty sure it is almost more comfy than my jammies and I'd totally wear it on call. It is also very wrinkle-resistant, which is always good if I'm sitting for a long period of time. I am thinking it might more be a casual dress in the summer and I can always wear some tights with it in the winter and some boots - it's a bit short for my current summer, aesthetic though. And there are pockets!!! :) I think it makes me look a smidgin preggers in #5 - but who knows :p

What do you guys think?

I really like them both on you.  :)

I like #1 the best of the two, but if your budget permits, I think they are both keepers. The comfort factor alone makes me really like #2! And I see no prefers anywhere.

And I love the bird necklace!

I love them both on you! I think they look MUCH better on you than the models, too!

I love the first one! That's an 11 out of 10.

I like both too, but would choose 1 over 2 because I love the pattern. Is the neckline of 2 a little low for work?

#1 is stunning on you. Keep!! As for #2, it all depends ...I think it is less versatile. But if the comfort factor is super high and the budget allows....then yes!

The first one looks like it was made for you. The fit is lovely. I like the second one best with the denim jacket. Dresses look amazing on you.

Pretty dresses! You look great in both. And no sign of a bump. I was wondering about the neckline of #2 too. (For work I mean.)

Thanks ladies; I can easily keep both of the dresses, I got them both on mega clearance (asian magpie gene) and so cost isn't really a factor here; the second dress was only $39 and the first one was $79, but they are well within my month's budget, since one of the other dresses and a blazer were oversold by Anthro and I will be getting that rebated :)

I thought about the neckline for #2 as well for work, but there is definitely enough room under it to layer a crisp shirt or a pussy-bow top :)

PS: HAHA; I doubt that they look better on me than the models, but thanks for your flattering words and advice ladies, I appreciate it as always :)

As always great picks!!! I love #1 the best of the two!!

what Angie said. pass on the second.

I love the first one on you. I would pass on the second.

Wow lyn - the first dress looks like they made it for you. Positively stunning. I'm not a huge fan of the second dress but if you think it will be versatile for you, then keep.

I like them both although I prefer the first.  Not because it looks better on you (you look great in both dresses) but because I prefer the pattern on the first dress over the second.  You don't look preggers at all - go see my posts if you want to see preggers :)
