It looks good on you. How would you wear it? It's a little conservative for casual wear, but would your work environment allow it? I'm just not feeling the jean skirt thing for myself this season--don't know why.

Well, I am big fan fan of denim pencil skirts and this one fits you really well, so I say go for it.

Is that a Rickis miracle skirt? It looks nice on you!

I like it! I've been looking for a denim pencil, but can't seem to find one. Does it pass the sit down test?

love it...goes with your commitment to have a more "adult" edge to your outfits, still with the fun print in the blous---quintessential lyn* touch.

From your latest posts (KK dress!), it's clear that you're not a fan of silhouette fitting clothes, but... you look great on this pencil skirt and I believe it has potencial to become a work-horse.

KEEP IT! Plus for those blue days when we/you feel that nothing looks good, a daring a piece (one that you're not used to wear, not as much as flared skirts, for example) might be just *the* mood booster.

PS: I love the belt contrast against the skirt. :D

I see the senior residents wear jeans all the time - one of them wears plaid shirts and holey jeans. One of the other ones wears t-shirts without a bra and faded jeans. So ... I'm going to guess that wearing a dark wash jean skirt is probably okay.

I sized down for this one, because it seemed to feel a little bit better. :) And they even had the pretty yellow belt too! I am quite smitten with the yellow belt! I had tried it on in a 2 before and it didn't wow me. I sized up to a 4 last time I tried it and it was even more bleh. I guess I needed to go down, not up!

@ Ceit - I'm not sure! I think it's from last year? Oops; this spring (2013). I think this is the link to the reviews - http://reviews.rickis.com/0513.....38;dir=asc

@ Harmonica - It sure does! It stretches like a dream. I can almost do lunges in it. I'm sure the sales person thinks I'm crazy now :p

@ Jurocha - Funny thing is, this skirt doesn't make me feel like a whale! YAY! I'm not sure what the difference is between it and my black tight fitted dress, but maybe because it's only fitted in the skirt and I can wear other things with it?

PS: Having fun making outfits with it. :)

I often find I need to size down in Ricki's skirts. The ones I have had over the years have been super comfy and lasted well.

Can't believe it's gone! I love high waisted skirts and I wore my more casual ON denim skirt all the time last summer despite fit issues. I think you could dress this up or down (by putting a t shirt over the waist), and I have skinny belts going to waste (waist? Har). Nice length on you too. Looks great.

    Love it on you!

Thumbs up!  You mentioned on another thread that you could use some pieces that didn't have a print.

    Looks gorgeous on you!

DONE! TAGS ARE OFF! IT IS MINE FOREVER AND EVER AND EVER!!!!

    MY PRECIOUSSSSSS....

You made the right decision.  The skirt looks gorgeous on you.  Or maybe you make the skirt look gorgeous.  I also love how it fits so well into your style elements.
