At Store 2: Summer Work Dress Option 2

Another dress for your consideration; Likewise there are enough of a sleeve I can wear during the summer at work.

The pleather detail may push towards more of a winter/fall look, though. Hmm.

It's pretty but I like the other dress better. This one looks more formal, and for spring I think a lighter color would be nice.

    Crisp and professional.

It is a lovely LBD (and fits you beautifully), but I agree with Karie that it has a more "formal" look than the striped fit-and-flare. It might be a great addition to your wardrobe if you have dressy events to attend. I have two LBD's that I use quite often. I imagine that it could be "dressed down" for regular work wear.

Oooh, you guys are right, this one is definitely a more professional vibe: maybe for my presentations and when I need a "power trip" (hahaha!)

  • El Cee replied 10 years ago

Yes… it would be a great "power dress"!

Not as much wow factor but definitely a very nice LBD. Fits you really well too.

I think it'd be a great work dress. It has a professional in charge vibe.

Did you get this  or the other? I love the "circus stripe" one, because I love circus stripes. But this is a serious power dress. And I like power more than I like the circus ;)

  • lyn* replied 10 years ago

@Rachylou - I got both; one for fun (circus) and one for power (this one). :)

    Excellent decision IMO! :D

I think this is a fabulous basic dress. I adore the cap sleeve and the v-neck. I think how you choose to accessorize this dress will determine how fall/winter/summer it will appear. I barely noticed the leather details.
