A Very Canadian Black Friday

To be honest, I slept through the first 12 hours of Black Friday (I am dreadful sick), even though I stayed home from work today (I wouldn't wish this cold on anyone, much less my ICU patients) - so I managed to get a few things, and hope they are okay-dokies!

1/2 - Figured you can't go much wrong with a scrunchy sleeved blazer; these days I scrunch up all of mine anyway.

3/4 - I've had pretty good luck with Closet dresses, so I went for two in a new pattern; more funky than I usually go, but I hope they will be fine. My last size 10 was a smidgen on the small side and my size 12 was pretty big though.

5 - A dress I'd had an eye on for a LONG time; finally on sale :p

6 - Not quite sure what I'd do with this dress yet; but it's so pretty! Maybe to all those Christmas parties I don't get invited to ;)

7/8 - Pair of skirts I've had my eye on for awhile.

9/10 - To embrace the new peplum trend! :D

Now, to drink Nyquill and watch Downton Abbey. I'm on season 2. :)

    Hope you feel better soon. These pretty items will make you feel better when they arrive! Benedryl helps me sleep through a cold (dead to the world)

    So fanciful. Love the flare of the skirts on dresses 3 and 4. And a horse print on 3! I was one of those young girls who always wanted a horse : )

    Very nice haul! I always love blazers, and the patterns on 8 and 10 are so cute! Hope you feel better.

    The top in #9 has pattern mixing potential with the plaid blazer (2) and light patterned skirt (8).

    That is, if the thought of pattern mixing doesn't make you feel ill or dizzy. :-D

    Hope you feel better! Take care of yourself. Good for you to have taken advantage of the Canadian black Friday. Many retailers fought back the massive exodus of customers to the States on that day by offering prices lower than what they could make money on. My favourite item is pic 2! But all are gorgeous, the little dresses are so you, can'T wait to see you rock them as soon as you're back in health.
