I am not really looking forward to today, despite it being Friday, mostly because of what I have to do today. Last time, one of the girls pinched my arm and poked my tummy and called me fat. It is sometimes hard to remain empathetic.
Regardless, I was going to go with my red blazer this morning, but I need to have more of a "peer" image today and not as much authority, so I will leave the power blazers at home! :)
Love this skirt. Even if it is a size smaller than what I usually wear!

The product description stated that these row houses are Brownstones, but I think they have more of an Euro feel as opposed to a East Coast American style! :) Had to stalk this dress for a very long time, but I am happy it finally went for second markdown. It is on third markdown now, but I don't mind the few extra dollars for the peace of mind!
This is a belt I had bought a while ago to go with a potential party outfit for a wedding invitation that did not end up materializing. I had a struggle with accessorizing this dress: it already has so much graphic!! I tried to balance this with some simple and unique shapes with a touch of sparkle!

Yay! No patients today, so I can wear whatever I want! Also, it is my sleeping day, but I think I am okay to rock and roll in the afternoons! :)
My friends and I are going for lunch at this cute little dinner which is rather hipsterish, hence I hope a more dress down approach will make things more comfortable there. Did I mention it is a converted street car?

Ah, working again this weekend: at least it means one more day to dress up!!
My sister picked out this dress at Anthro for me (while I did my returns, she scoured the sales section) and she was super excited when I said I was going to wear it!!!
I bought her a dress and a nice tunic blouse from Anthro and now I think I started an avalanche!! She is asking for a nice fall jacket for her upcoming birthday ("Maybe from Anthro?") tee hee. Maybe with her birthday discount!! :)

Man, these late summer temperatures are slightly killer: it is going to be another 30 C day which means that layers are king!! Of course there is arctic air conditioning on the transit and in the hospital! Blazers are the perfect compromise!!!
I wasn't sure what to pattern mix this morning, but don't we always associate plaids with farms? Horses live on farms!!! Well, at least this was the logic I was going with!

When I bought this skirt, I got a free surprise! Used Kleenex in a pocket! Oh the hazards of second hand!!! :)
Now it is nice and clean in all of its twirly wonderfulness and I love the brushstroke colour details!
