Man, I have been struggling there for a few weeks to strike a balance in my wardrobe and I think I have finally gotten to a good part! I totally love this outfit!
It pairs easily with a denim jacket for the commute and a black blazer for my teaching session today. And flats!

Thought I would break in the new glasses to see if they would give me much headache tonight on my long shift!
And speaking of night shifts, I generally don't wear skirts but thought this dress was a pretty close homage to pencil skirts.

I couldn't say no to the bears, and while there are a lot of colours in the top, for some reason I wasn't feeling a red or a teal or grey skirt today! I hope the magenta works!
I also sewed down the ties of the bear top so there isn't a gap anymore between the bow and the shirt part. :) crafty!

Well, not really. But it was raining some cats and dogs out there! I had a pair of nude pumps at work, but this is what I wore (and the trench is very damp, but I had a cheerful blazer!)
I was feeling down today, so I recycled one of my favorite outfits! :)

And a bunny!
Nothing too exciting to do today - some lesson plans, some studying and some reading about various things ... but I got a notice that I needed to go to the Post Office (last week) to retrieve some things! Yipes!
I had a fun time opening all my packages - and my sister thought that it was the holidays coming early! :P It sure felt that way!
And there's a little bunny I spotted post-rounds at the hospital today! The med student asked if they made good stews. I'm not sure if he was joking. HAHA! Hopefully?

Well, I'm still struggling a fair bit with my "casual" wardrobe, but since I'm going out tonight with my friends for dinner (welcome to the new residents - haha, I'm not a new resident anymore!) - I figured that a nice breezy dress can't go wrong! And flats are not intimidating to anyone, right? :)
I really love these earrings - but I rarely wear them because they are so huge - I had them from my short haired days (which really wasn't that long ago).
I initially had a black belt, but took it off because I was running into the black belt problems I had earlier in the week (which aren't ninja problems!)
I'm not 100% happy with this outfit either, but I"m not quite sure why. Hmm. Any thoughts?

Help! I was super excited to wear this outfit (initially planned to be worn with a blazer - but none of my blazers really worked) - but I am not sure why, but when I put it on, it felt pretty frumpy-dumpy, and I'd like to figure out why so I don't repeat the same mistakes.
Would it be better with a different belt? I toyed with the idea when I was at work that my white leather belt would be better - it's still a solid that breaks up the pattern mix, but isn't quite so heavy.
Maybe the skirt is too long?
Unsure; but I felt definitely UnFab today, which makes me sad because I love the pieces individually!

... ward business meeting is up today, so I thought I had to look a bit more sharp! After pulling on the pencil skirt, I felt very MaryK :) which is wonderful! And round toe pumps too!
But the dancing bear top is all mine. Tee hee. I like my secret bears.

What to wear on a non-clinical day is always challenging for me - but since people are showing up very casual, I always have to balance that with the chance that I will run into patients or supervising staff (or my med students!)
It is very warm and summery out today - so I tried not to go too heavy, although this top is part of Le Chateau's "winter" collection, I think the rest of the light colour balance out okay!
Is this outfit okay? :) I am fond of it - but since I tailored the skirt to fit, the pockets are not quite at the right places and sometimes if the skirt twirls, then I can't find the hole! HAHAHAHAHA. Oh dear.
ETA: Sorry - my little spiel got cut off the first time I posted from my phone, I don't quite know what happened! LOL.
