I really liked this outfit the last time I wore it, so I busted it out again! It was about a month ago I wore it 100% the same, but that's still okay, yes?

Ugh. Le Chateau is not honoring THEIR OWN return policy and is stonewalling me.
ETA: In large writing at the bottom of the receipt it states that anything purchased between October and Dec 24th can be returned prior to a date in Jan, as long as it wasn't on Dec 26 and 27, but apparently this only applies to "gift receipts" and I got the wrong one.
I stated this was not explained in the policy on the receipt and was not explained to me at time of purchase; and they basically told me that's too bad for you. No store credit. No exchanges. Staff are being EXTREMELY unhopeful, and unsympathetic (a lot of customer blaming going on here).
I expect a better return policy for a dress that wasn't cheap - about $150; and $175. Kind of really kicking myself right now, but at least I like these dresses?
I am waiting to talk to the district manager(?) I have already invested two hours of my life. Should I just leave (need to pee).
I think both dresses were YLF approved, so I guess I am forced to duplicate!

There is something I really like about this blazer, but mostly I think, it is because it is really warm! It feels like wearing a fancy pants blanket around all day, perfect for the coldest day of the week: we are going to be back to our usual of single digits next week!
It must be exam time; everyone on the subway is in sweats and has some degree of poor hygiene. Oh boy!

No patients were harmed in the creation of this post: all my pics were from after I came home.
I am a little bit (okay a lot bit) of a control freak, so when something happens on the ward and I am at home, I need a fast fallback outfit and return to the hospital in 15 minutes.
Due to the nature of my specialty, we are on home call, so I don't usually retire until 0400 because nothing happens at that time usually.
I'd say this was an okay grab and run! I had had dinner out previously, so that made everything else easier - although the boys made fun of the fact I had makeup and earrings!! :)

It's getting to be that time of year again; and my oral exams are this afternoon. It is with staff I know and most people wear tshirts and hoodies and jeans.
I thought I would treat myself to a delicious lunch (as if I need that excuse) and went with Greek! NOM NOM NOM!!!
I am quite fond if my poodles and am sad that forever 21 didn't come out with a cute
"Ditzy cardigan" this year. Last year there was poodles, the year before it was bicycles. Bah.
I had my oral defense last week which apparently went pretty good (all of the residents write it and we are compared against all the other residents. I am in my second year and it is scary to be "pitted" against the fifth years!)

What a curious summons!
I still don't really like to wear jeans (they freeze and make your legs super cold) so I went for my usual.
I don't think I am really that dressed up; toned down the makeup to almost nothing, though. My skin is happy with me today!

Well, at least I can zip it up this time! The last size 4 Kate dress was sooooo tight around the boobs it was insane (luckily my sister loved it!)

I didn't know I would ever find a plaid I would love so much, or a pleated skirt that fit! It is a kid's skirt, but we will keep that our little secret! It even has my initials (thank you, Lands End) and makes me feel like I got to go to private school like I have always dreamed!
That being said, I hope I tied in enough other elements not to read "hi, I just escaped from the girls school over there!" :)

It looks like we got another cold snap this week, with almost -30C with windchill (so not too bad if you have a big warm parka!)
I wanted to wear my super warm blazer today!!
It's so cold that our neighbors to the south are calling for a snow day! Oh boy... We will have to see how busy clinic is today, but of people do not make it in, I can see why!!
Ps: for you FMA fans (Ceit!) it's still not as cold as Ft. Briggs. Maybe Northern Command.
