The Frock Doc

Now that it is definitely fall (almost freezing out last night) I thought it was time to pull out some old favorites from last fall to see if they still worked for me!!

I remember really liking the texture of this dress and the flare. I think the colour is okay. I somehow think it is missing something - but maybe that is part of its utility; I can always add things (dotty cardigan) to make it more interesting!!

I thought I would go simple today after the big colorful mess yesterday!! Ah, I think this is up my alley more: and I think I need a few more accessories I actually enjoy wearing. I feel that I repeat my nut (haha acorn) a lot; and I hanker for a watch change sometimes!

Hmmm. I am not quite happy with his outfit, although I am not 100% sure why.

Maybe too much going on? Maybe because of the red stripe in front? I love all of the individual pieces, but I hope there would be suggestions from you lovely ladies about why this doesn't work?

Wow. Another six weeks have passed and it's time for a new rotation of medical students! The sure do "grow up" fast!! And I get to orient the new group today!

Pulled out a winter weight twirly skirt for our first day with frost!! It feels rather chilly today, but no problem with layers and my trusty trench!!

I really wasn't too sure about this cardigan in the store (sale goggles) because animal prints aren't really my thing, but I hope that it adds an interesting textural element today!

Oh geez. It was really cold out so I thought I would rock my wool skirt of a longer length. Not too well received. Got various comments about this outfit being from the 1920's or the 1940's from different people throughout the day.

I thought it was fine. Kind of simple and not too exciting, what do you ladies think??

Maybe my backwaters are not ready for longer lengths yet?

Now, I know it isn't my birthday for a bit (okay, a long bit) but I saw this long lusted after dress for half price and in my size ... With one left??? Couldn't wait for the big day!!! So I pounced! And this is what I have!!

Love this dress and hope you guys too!! Tons of interesting comments today at work including "CAN YOU SEE ME?" Haha. Love it!
